32 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CLOSING A 30 FOOT UNNAMED STREET ON THE SOUTH <br /> SIDE OF AIRLINE BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />'hereinafter-described portion of a certin 30' unnamed street <br />-on the south side of Airline Boulevard; and it appearing <br />that notice of application and the request for the appoint- <br />ment of viewers was duly advertised according to law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrlck, Charles <br />R. Hudgins, Robert Reed, Harrison Miller and R. E. B. Stewart <br />be appointed viewers and that Clinton J. Fortune and J. R. <br />Wilkerson be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of <br />the preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to <br />view the hereinafter-described portions of such street, and <br />to report to this Council in writing whether in in their <br />opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in <br />vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> A PORTION OF A 30 FOOT DAIINA~LED STREET · <br /> ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF AIRLINE BOULEVARD <br /> <br /> All that certain piece or parcel of land, <br /> lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br /> ginia, and comprising that porticn of an unnamed <br /> street as shown on the plat entitled "Plat <br /> Showing 30 Foot Unnamed Street And 10 Foot <br /> Widening Strip To Be Closed For Ports~.outh Re- <br /> Development And Housing Authority", prepared <br /> by the Engineering & Technical Services Depart- <br />~ment of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, dated <br /> August 31, 1982, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto.
