!09 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PLAN <br />FOR 1983-84 THROUGH 1987-88, AND A ONE YEAR CAPITAL IM-PROVE- <br />MENT ~ROGRA~J! FOR 1983-84 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the City Council <br />the Capital Improvement Plan for 1983-84 through 1987-88; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission and the Municipal <br />Finance Commission have reviewed said plan; an~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to receive public <br />comments on the Capital Improvements Plan and on the one year <br />Capital Improvement Program, and on the General Revenue Sharing <br />Funds included therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has considered the Capital Improvement <br />Plan and the utilization of General R~venue Sharing Funds and <br />finds them to be in proper form and expressive of Council policies <br />and regard to necessary capital improvements. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia that the aforesaid Capital Improvements <br />Plan for the years 1983-84 through 1987-88 and a one year Capital <br />Improvement Program for 1983-84 are approved subject to later <br />appropriation in the ordinary course of business of the City. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />at a meeting held November 8, 1983. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
