99 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF FAYETTE STREET. N. Kendrick, Charles R. Hudgins, Robert Reed, Harrison Hiller and R. E. B. Stewart be appointed viewers, and that James ~oss and Clinton J. F~ne be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter- described portion of such street and to report to this Council ~n writing whether in their oQinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: F~YE?i~E STREET at a Ail that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the City of ~ortsmouth, Vir- ginia, as shown on the plat entitled "Plat Show- lng Closure Of Portion Of Fayette Street, Ports- mouth, Virginia For Portsmouth Redevelopment And -~ 72:' Housing Authority, Effingham Project VA-~- , dated June i0, 1983, revised July 19, 1983, pre- pared by Hassell and Fo!kes, P.C., Surveyors and Engineers~ Portsmouth, Virg±nia, compr±sing that portion of Fayette Street which is bounded on the west by the eastern r~ght-of-way' line of Green Street and extending in an easterly direction 281.93 feet to a point being on the western right- of-way line of the former Eighth Street [now be- ing property of Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Autho~!ty).
