91 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO CAROL R. ULLOM, DIRECTORESS, <br />MONTESSORI CHILDREN'S CENTER, TO OPERATE A PRESCHOOL/KINDERGARTEN <br />FACILITY IN THE GREEN LAKES BAPTIST CHURCH AT 1610 HODGES <br />FERRY ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Green Lakes Baptist Church, by Carol R. Ullom, <br />Directoress, Mon%essori Children's Center, has made application <br />pursuant to ~40-73 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter- <br />described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have <br />done all things required to be dona in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the <br />granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth: Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adversely affect <br />safety of persons residing or working in <br />of the proposed use; <br /> <br />the health and <br />the neighborhood <br /> <br /> (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or <br />injurious to the property or improvements in the neighborhood; <br />and <br /> <br /> lc) Will be in accordance with the purposes of <br />the Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2 Carol R. Ullom, Directoress, Montesso~i Children's <br />Center, is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to ~40-73 (b) <br />of the City Code to operate a preschool/kindergarten facility <br />in the Green Lakes Baptist Church at 1610 Hodges Ferry Road <br />(UP-83-i6). <br /> <br /> 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) The preschool/kindergarten facility classroom <br />hours shall be limited to 9:00 A. M. to 2:00 P. M.. <br /> <br /> (b) No more than twenty-five (25) children shall <br />be in attendance at any one time. <br /> <br /> <br />
