A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIVE YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PLAN FOR 1985-86 THROUGH 1989-90, AND A ONE YEAR CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT PROGRAJ4 FOR 1985-86. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the City <br />Council the Capital Improvement Plan for 1985-86 through <br />1989-90; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the <br />Municipal Finance <br />and <br /> <br />City Planning Commission and the <br />Commission have reviewed sai~ plan; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to receive <br />public comments on the Capital Improvements Plan and on <br />the one year Capital Improvement Program, and on the <br />General Revenue Sharing Funds included therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has considered the Capital <br />Improvement Plan and the utilization of General Revenue <br />Sharing Funds and f~nds them to be in proper form and <br />expressive of Council policies in regard to necessary <br />capital improvements. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the aforesaid <br />Capital Improvements Plan for the years 1985-86 through <br />1989-90 and a one year Capital Improvement Program for <br />1985-86 are approved subject to later appropriation in <br />the ordinary course of business of the City. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held October 8, 1985. <br /> <br />~este: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
