92 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO WILLIE L. SAUNDERS <br />FOR CONVERSION TO A DUPLEX AT 59 LINDEN AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, willie L. Saunders has made application <br />pursuant to Section 40-102 (B) (10) and (11) of the Code <br />of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the <br />granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director <br />have done all things required to be done in connection <br />with said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended <br />the granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,-BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br /> the City of Portsmouth, Virginia:' <br /> <br /> 1. That the use for which the use permit <br /> hereinafter-described is sougkt£ <br /> <br /> (a) WiII notad~ersely affect <br />safety of persons residing or.working in <br />neighborhood of the proposed use; <br /> <br />t-he. health'and <br />the <br /> <br /> (b) will not be detrimental to the public use <br />or injurious to the property or improvements of the <br />neighborhood; and <br /> <br />of the <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accordance wi~h the purposes <br />Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br />Virginia, <br />from a <br /> <br /> 2. willie L. Saunders is hereby granted a use <br />permit pursuant to Section 40-102 (B) (10) and (11) of <br />the Code of the City of Portsmouth, 1973, to <br />convert property at 59 Linden Avenue <br />single-family dwelling to a duplex. <br /> <br /> 3o This use permit is approved to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />subject <br /> <br /> (a) The owner shall comply with the necessary <br />approval requirements from the Commission of <br />Architectural Review for on-site parking; <br /> <br /> (b) The owner shall obtain all necessary <br />permits for conversion construction required by the <br />Portsmouth City Code. <br /> <br /> <br />
