NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the certain group <br />housing project~ consisting of forty eight (48) rental <br />apartment units for the elderly to be located on a 1.75 <br />acre vacant parcel 150' west of Martin Avenue and south <br />of Portsmouth Boulevard and designated as GHP-85-23, and <br />more specifically described in correspondence from <br />George Eberwine, Jr., dated April 22, 1985 to the <br />Director of Planning and filed with the appropriate <br />officials of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, such <br />being made a part hereof, is hereby granted approval <br />subject to the following terms and conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. A standard site improvement plan must be <br />submitted to the Department of Engineering & Technical <br />Services for review and approval which includes proper <br />rear yard setback and street improvements to Sacony <br />Street. <br /> <br /> 2. Parking is permitted at 0.75 spaces per one <br />unit (36 spaces) pursuant to Section 40-45.1, but should <br />the parking demand increase above 36 spaces and/or if <br />the project reverts to use other than housing for the <br />elderly, the parking requirements must be met for that <br />increase or change in use. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held July 23, 1985. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
