WHEREAS, the developer is aware that building <br />permits or any Other required permit will be issued only <br />upon compliance with the ordinances, laws and <br />regulations applicable thereto. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the certain group <br />housing project designated as GHP-85-19 and more <br />specifically described in correspondence from Michael <br />Smith, General Partner, Master Development Corporation, <br />to the Director of Planning dated April 10, 1985 and <br />further elaborated upon in correspondence from Alan <br />Jenson, A.I.A. and President of Master Development <br />Corporation to Patrick J. Coffield, dated June 25, 1985, <br />to Danny E. Cruce, dated July 2, 1985, and to George L. <br />Hanbury dated July 3, 1985, and more specifically shown <br />on plans filed with the appropriate officials of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, such plans and <br />correspondence being made a part hereof, is hereby <br />granted approval subject to the following conditions: <br /> <br /> 1. Final approval from the Downtown D-1 Design <br />Committee must be granted prior to issuance of building <br />permits. <br /> <br /> 2. A standard site improvement plan must be <br />submitted to the Department of Engineering & Technical <br />Services for review and approval. <br /> <br /> 3. The plans noted above shall be revised to <br />Drovide for the following: <br /> <br /> (a) Add fire places to each unit; <br /> (b) Add decks or porches to each unit; <br /> (c) Add exposed bricks for the chimneys <br /> on the ends of the buildings; <br />........ (d) Add security fencing to enclose the <br /> property and surround the parking area <br /> with appropriate gates; <br /> (e) Provide optional jacuzzis in all bath <br /> rooms. <br /> <br /> 4. That the additions noted in paragraph 3 above <br />will increase the anticipated selling price of the units <br />into the seventy thousand dollar plus ($70,000+) price <br />range. <br /> <br /> <br />
