71 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING <br />PROJECT PURSUANT TO SECTION 40-55 OF THE CODE OF THE <br />CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, SAID PROJECT BEING <br />KNOWN AS "COLUMBIA PLACE CONDOMINIUMS" AND CONSISTING OF <br />36 CONDOMINIUM UNITS AND DESIGNATED AS GHP-85-19. <br /> <br />virginia~-1973, as 'amended; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed <br />application and the site plans submitted therewith, <br />has recommended a conditional approval of said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Master Development Corporation, by Alan C. <br />Jenson, Architect, has made application pursuant to <br />Section 40-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1973, for the granting and approval of a group <br />housing project to be known as ."Columbia Place <br />Condominiums" consisting of thirty six (36) condominium <br />units on a 1.089 acre parcel bounded by Washington, <br />Columbia and South Streets, which parcel is more <br />particularly described as follows: <br /> <br /> GHP-85-19 <br /> <br /> Beginning at the northeast inter- <br /> section of Washington and South Streets; <br /> thence east along the north right-of-way <br /> of South Street 175', more or less, to a <br /> point; thence north 113', more or less, <br /> to a point; thence east 68', more or <br /> less, to a point; thence north 113', more <br /> or less, to the south right-of-way of <br /> Columbia Street; thence west along said <br /> right-of-way to the east right-of-way of <br /> Washington Street; thence south along <br /> said right-of-way to the north <br /> right-of-way of South Street, the point <br /> of origin. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the application has been determined by the <br /> Planning Commission to have met the requirements of <br /> Section 40-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br /> <br />such <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that the <br />approval of a group housing project pursuant to Section <br />40-55 grants only an exemption irom certain requirements <br />~or residences and stated in said section and does not <br />constitute a waiver of any other requirement embodied in <br />the subdivision ordinance, zoning ordinance, Code of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, or any other applicable <br />Local, state or federal laws or regulations; and <br /> <br /> <br />
