violation of these prohibitions as to possession or <br />consumption shall be punished in accord with the <br />penalties prescribed for possession or consumption, <br />respectively, found in Chapter 21 of this Code. <br /> Section 24-87. Penalty; continuing violations. <br /> (a) Prohibitions as to the use, operation and <br /> parking of vehicles, including but not limited to motor <br /> vehicles, shall be punished as traffic infractions in <br /> accord with the State motor vehicle Code and/or City <br /> motor vehicle ordinances found in Chapte~ 23 of this <br /> Code. <br /> <br /> (b) Whenever in this A~ticle or in any rule or <br /> regulation promulgated by any officer or agency of the <br /> City pursuant to authority vested in him, any act is <br /> prohibited or is made or declared to be unlawful or an <br /> offense o~ a misdemeanor or wherever in such A~ticle <br /> rule or regulation the doing of any act is ~equired or <br /> the failure to do any act is declared to be u~lawful or <br /> an offense or misdemeanor, where no specific penalty is <br /> provided therefor, the violation of any such provision <br /> of this Article or of any such rule or regulation shall <br /> be punished as provided in §1-9 of this Code.
