41 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN A <br />OF EXCHANGE FOR SEWER EASEMENTS (26 EASTON STREET) . <br /> <br />DEED <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the owner of certain property designated as <br />26 Easton Street has requested that the sanitary sewer line <br />on said property be relocated; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said relocation has been completed by the - <br />Public Works Department of the City of Portsmouth and the <br />cost thereof paid by the property owner; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property owner is willing to dedicate a <br />new easement for the relocated sewage line in exchange for <br />the release of the existing easement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said existing easement is no longer <br />by the City for public purposes and is, therefore, <br />to be surplus property. <br /> <br />reauired <br />declared <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and <br />hereby is, authorized to sign a deed of exchange for the <br />purpose of releasing an abandoned sewer line easement and <br />dedicating a new sewer line easement on property known as <br />26 Easton Street, Portsmouth, Virginia. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held April 24, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
