32 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE GP~T!TUDE OF PORTSMOUTH TO MRS. <br />~V~EL!A G. McLEAN FOR HER CONTRIBUTION OF 2.77 ACRES OF L~ND <br />LOCATED ADJACENT TO FREDERICK BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Amelia G. McLean has donated 2.77 acres of <br />valuable property to the City of Portsmouth for the benefit <br />of the City and its citizens; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this property will be combined with other <br />properties to establish a transfer site to assist the City <br />in its participation in a regional landfill to be operated <br />by the Southeastern Public Service ~uthority; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the donation of this property reflects the <br />spirit of community pride heretofore expressed by Amelia G. <br />McLean. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia that a copy of this resolution <br />be spread upon the Minutes of this Council, and that a copy <br />be presented to Amelia G.
