NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City'of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the modified 1984 Community <br />Development Program's Proposed Statement'of Objectives and <br />Use of Funds, Uniform D±splacement Policy and Urgent Needs <br />Amendment, having been reviewed and considered, be and hereby <br />are, approved in all respects and the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized to file the Final Statement of Objsctives and Use <br />of Funds, an amendment to the Urgent Needs Program and any <br />additional information as may be required with the Department <br />of Housing and Urban Development in order to obtain the 1984 <br />Block Grant; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is designated <br />as the certifying officer and authorized representative of the <br />City of Portsmouth and shall provide assurances as required <br />by the regulations of the Housing and Community Development <br />Act of 1974, as amended, for. the approval of the 1984 Community <br />Development Program and the Urgent Needs Amendment. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />at 'a meeting held February 28, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
