107 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE FIVE_~ YEAR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT <br />PLAN FOR 1984-85 THROUGH 1988-89, AND A ONE YEAR CAPITAL <br />I~IPROVF24ENT PROGR~ FOR 1984- 85 . <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Manager has submitted to the City <br />Council the Capital Improvement Plan for 1984-85 through <br />1988-89; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission and the Municipal <br />Finance Commission have reviewed said plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing has been held to receive <br />public comments on the Capital Improvements Plan and on the <br />one year Capital Improvement Program, and on the General <br />Revenue Sharing Funds included therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has considered the Capital Improve- <br />ment Plan and the utilization of General Revenue Sharing <br />Funds and as amended by the Council finds them to be in <br />proper form and expressive of Council policies in regard to <br />necessary capital improvements. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,. BE tT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the aforesaid Capital <br />Improvements Plan for the years 1984-85 through 1988-89 and <br />a one year Capital Improvement Program for 1984-85 are <br />approved subject to later appropriation in the ordinary <br />course of business of the City. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held October 9, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
