68 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF AN UNNAMED <br />ALLEY BETWEEN DEEP CREEK BOULEVARD AND COLUMBUS AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described portion <br />of a certain unnamed alley, and it appearing that notice of <br />application and request for the appointment of viewers has <br />been duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick. James Moss, Clinton <br />J. Fortuner Matthew L. Peanort and L. A. Clark be appointed viewers, <br />and that Harrison Miller and Ja~es H. Griffin be appointed al- <br />ternate viewers in the event one of th~ preceding viewers fails <br />to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described <br />portion of such street, and to repor~ to this Council in writing <br />whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience <br />would result from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />UNNAMED ALLEY <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of the unnamed alley located <br />between the north side of Deep Creek Boulevard and <br />the south side of Columbus Avenue. The said alley <br />is described on the subdivision plat of "Prentis <br />Park" recorded in MaD Book 13, Page 51j in the Clerk's <br />Office of the Circui~ Court of the City of Chesapeake, <br />V~rginia. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia <br />at a meeting held June 26, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
