AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 38-79 TtIEREOF, PERTAINING <br />TO CHARGE FOR TRUCK-HAULED WASTE FROM SEPTIC TANKS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, that Section 38-79 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended to read as follows- <br /> <br />Section 38-79. Charge for truck-hauled waste from septic <br /> tank, etc. <br /> <br /> Any person who shall discharge and truck-haul waste <br />taken from any septic tank, cesspool,~or other sewage con- <br />tainer into the sewerage system of the City shall pay at the <br />time of such discharge the following charge: twelve dollars <br />and fifty cents (.$12.50) per five hundred (500) gallons or <br />fractional part thereof. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia at a meeting held May 15, 1984. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
