Number of Converted Apartment Units Lot Size in Square Feet 2,700 - 5,999 6,000 and over Under no circumstances are more than two (2) converted units to be permitted within one (1} existing dwelling unit. (e) Water and sewer service: Prior to the issuance of a building permit for the establishment of a conversion dwelling unit in a principal dwelling, approval of the disposal shall be obtained from the building official's office. Wherever determined reasonably feasible, separate utility meters shall be required. Cf) Off-street parking: One (1} On-site parking space shall be provided per conversion dwelling unit in the rear of lot with access from alley. If no alley exists, the space(s) shall be arranged, on-site, in a manner to have minimum visual impact on the neighborhood. The provision of said space(s) shall be a condition for the issuance of an occupancy permit. (g) Upon ~doption of this conversion section, an inventory of all structures shall be made to identify all illegal conver- sions. Property owners found to have illegal unit(s) shall be given twelve (12) months to either render the dwelling unit(s) into compliance with the conversion provisions of this section or eliminate same. All conversions in place in Port Norfolk on Apri! 26, 1983 and in Park View on April I, 1984, and en- compassed within the R-60 regulations, shall be considered conforming. (11) Minimum required floor area for a dwelling unit ex- clusive of garages and patios applicable to the Olde Towne, Truxtun, Port Norfolk and Park View Historic Districts: Six Hundred (600) square feet. 4. That Section 40-102 (E) and (F) be amended to read as follows: CE) The following off-street parking requirements shall apply in the Historic District: (1) Dwelling structures shall have one space for each dwelling unit.
