Green indicates that traffic shall then move in the <br />direction of the signal and remain in motion as long as the <br />green signal is given, except that such traffic shall yield <br />to other vehicles and pedestrians lawfully within the inter- <br />section. <br /> <br />Section 23-36. Drivers to obey signs, signals, markings, <br /> lights. <br /> <br /> (c) <br />signals, <br />of this <br /> <br /> The failure of such driver to obey such signs, <br /> markings or lights or to comply with the provisions <br />section shall constitute a traffic infraction. <br /> <br />Section 23-37. Display of unauthorized signs, signals, <br /> markings or advertising signs. <br /> <br /> No unauthorized person shall erec~ or maintain upon any <br />highway any warning or direction sign, marker, signal or light <br />in imitation of any official sign, marker, signal or light <br />erected under the provisions of this chapter, and no person <br />shall erect or maintain upon any highway any traffic or high- <br />way sign or signal bearing thereon any commercial advertis- <br />ing; provided, however, that nothing in this section shall be <br />construed to prohibit the erection or maintenance of signs, <br />markers or signals bearing thereon the name of an organization <br />which has been authorized to erect the same by the state <br />highway commission or by the city manager; nor shall this <br />section be construed to prohibit the erection by contractors <br />or public utility companies to temporary signs approved by the <br />state highway department warning motorists that work is in <br />progress upon the highway or adjacent thereto. <br /> <br /> Any person who violates the provisions of this section <br />shall be guilty of a Class 4 misdemeanor. <br /> <br />Section 23-73. Riding on sidewalk. <br /> <br /> (a) Subject to Section 23-6B, if any person rides or <br />drives any vehicle other than a bicycle on the sidewalks of <br />the city, or rides a bicycle on sidewalks or crosswalks <br />designated as prohibiting the riding of bicycles, he shall <br />be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined <br />not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than twenty-five <br />dollars ($25.00). <br /> <br /> (b) In locations where the riding of bicycles on side- <br />walks or crosswalks is not prohibited: <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
