(b) The City Manager or his designated <br />representative may perform additional audits or require <br />the production of records required to be maintained by <br />the provisions of this Division at such other times as <br />may be deemed necessary by the City Manager or his <br />designated representative. <br /> <br /> (c) The City Manager or his designated <br />representative may require an organization to produce <br />such additional records as may be necessary to perform <br />required or permitted audits, including but not limited <br />to, any records or documents which show the purpose or <br />purposes for which the organization is specifically <br />chartered or organized. It shall be unlawful for any <br />organization to fail to produce such records within a <br />reasonable time upon the request of the City ~anager or <br />his designated representative and failure to keep such <br />records and documents shall constitute a violation of <br />this section. <br /> <br /> (d) The City Manager or his designated <br />representative ls hereby authorized to enter upon the <br />premises on which an organization is conducting a bingo <br />game or raffle for the purpose of performing unannounced <br />audits of such game or raffle and/or carrying out the <br />duties imposed by this Division and the above-referenced <br />Article of the Code of Virginia. <br /> <br />Section 21-54.7. Records to be maintained. <br /> <br /> (a) Each organization shall maintain a record in <br />writing of the dates on which bingo is played, the <br />number of people ~n attendance on each date and the <br />amount of the receipts and expenses for such session and <br />prizes paid on each such session. The organization <br />shall also maintain a record of the name and address of <br />each individual to whom a door prize, bingo game prize, <br />raffle or jackpot is awarded as well as the amount of <br />such award. The organization conducting bingo games or <br />raffles shall maintain an itemized record of all <br />receipts and disbursements, including operating costs <br />and use of proceeds incurred in such games or raffles. <br />Said records shall be furnished to the City Manager or <br />his designated representative upon request. <br /> <br /> (b) Each organization shall maintain a separate <br />checking account into which shall be placed all receipts <br />from bingo games and instant bingo. Monies from other <br />sources may not be placed or deposited into such <br />account. Withdrawals from said accounts shall be made <br />only by utilizing printed, sequentially numbered bank <br />checks. No disbursements ~rom these accounts shall be <br /> <br /> <br />
