94 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING OF A PORTION OF <br />BAY STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Boating Center, Inc., and Christian <br />Broadcasting Network have made application to vacate, close <br />and discontinue the hereinafter-described portion of Bay <br />Street, and it appearing that notice of application and <br />request for the appointment of viewers was duly advertised as <br />required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Charles Ro Hudgins, Robert Reed, <br />Harrison Miller, Moses Gibson and A1Dert J. Carr be appointed <br />viewers and that Simon P. Arrington and Emmerson Smith be <br />appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the preceding <br />v!ewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the <br />hereinafter-described portion of Bay Street and to report to <br />this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if <br />any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br />~ay Stree~ <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Bay Street being 50' <br />in width and extending from the western <br />boundary of Armstrong Street in a westerly <br />direction approximately 458', more or less, to <br />the waters of Scotts Creek. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held September 9, 1986~ <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
