80 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER INTO AN <br />AGREEMENT WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF GAME & INLAND FISHERIES FOR <br />FUNDING OF THE IMPROVEMENTS TO THE CITY PARK BOAT RAMP <br />FACILITIES. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $140,000.00 has been <br />secured from the Department of Game & Inland Fisheries for <br />renovation and expansion of the boat ramp facilities at City <br />Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the conditions of said funding require that the <br />City assume responsibility for architectural and engineering <br />design work; administration of the construction phase of the <br />project; and provide necessary maintenance thereafter. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, VirginIa, that the City Manager be, and he <br />hereby is, authorized to enter into an agreement with the <br />Department of Game & Inland Fisheries for funding of the <br />improvements to the City Park boat ramp facilities. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held August 12, 1986. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
