If any person without authority of law goes upon or <br />remains upon the lands, buildings, or premises of another, <br />portion or area thereof, after having been forbidden to do <br />so, either orally or in writing, by the owner, lessee, <br />custodian or other person lawfully in charge thereof, or <br />after having been forbidden to do so by a sign or signs <br />posted on such lands, buildings, premises or portion or <br />area thereof at a place or places where it or they may be <br />reasonably seen, or if any person, whether he is the owner, <br />tenant or otherwise entitled to the use of such land, <br />building or premises, goes upon, or remains upon such land, <br />building or premises after having been prohibited from <br />doing so by a court of competent jurisdiction by an order <br />issued pursuant to sections 16.1-253, 16.1-253.1, 16.1-279 <br />or section 16.1-279.1 of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as <br />amended, or an ex parte order issued pursuant to section <br />20-103 of the said Code of Virginia, and after having been <br />served with such order, he shall be guilty of a Class I <br />misdemeanor. <br /> <br />Section 21-125. Trespass on posted property. <br /> <br /> Any person who goes on the lands, waters, ponds, boats <br />or blinds of another, which have been posted in accordance <br />with the provisions of section 18.2r134.1 of the Code of <br />Virginia, 1950, as amended, except with the written consent <br />of or in the presence of the owner or his agent shall be <br />guilty of a Class 1 misdemeanor. <br /> <br />Section 21-148. <br /> <br />Punishment for conviction under <br />section 21-147. <br /> <br /> (b) Any person convicted of an offense under section <br />21-147, when the value of the goods or merchandise involved <br />in the offense is less than two hundred dollars ($200.00), <br />and it is alleged in the warrant or information on which he <br />is convicted and admitted, or found by the jury or judge <br />before whom he is tried, that he has been convicted on a <br />prior occasion, in the Commonwealth of Virginia for the <br />like offense, regardless of the value of the goods or <br />merchandise involved in the prior conviction, or for a <br />violation of section 18.2-95 or section 18.2-96 of the Code <br />of Virginia, 1950, as amended, or section 21-114 of this <br />code, shall be confined in jail nor less than thirty (30) <br />days nor more than twelve (12) months. <br /> <br /> 2.
