92 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING THE USE OF $442,50G.00 OF INDUSTRIAL <br />ACCESS ROAD FUNDS FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF HARPER ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by resolution adopted August 11, 1987, the City <br />of Portsmouth requested funding from the Virginia Department <br />of Transportation in the amount of $442,500.00 of Industrial <br />Access Road Funds for reconstruction of Harper Road; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Transportation has <br />requested certification that the funds, if approved, will not <br />be applied to the acquisition of right-of-way or the <br />relocation of utilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Road has been <br />cost; and <br /> <br />the right-of-way for the improvements to Harper <br />secured from CSX Transportation, Inc., at no <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />funds from an <br />City funds. <br /> <br />the utility relocation has been completed with <br />Economic Development Administration grant and <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that it hereby certifies to the <br />Virginia Department of Transportation that the use of <br />$442,500.00 of Industrial Access Road Funds shall be for the <br />reconstruction of Harper Road. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council cf the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held September 8, 1987. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
