required by the inspector where, in the inspector's <br />judgement, such inspections are necessary because of the <br />scope or complexity of the work to be installed or performed. <br />Each reinspection shall require a fee of Twenty Five Dollars <br />($25.00) to be paid prior to said reinspection. <br /> <br />Section 6-8 Subsection 118.1.1 (f). Certificate of occupancy <br /> for existing structure. <br /> <br /> The fee for a certificate of occupancy for an existing <br />structure shall be Twenty Five Dollars ($25.00). When a <br />certificate of occupancy is issued pursuant to the <br />satisfactory completion of final inspections pursuant to a <br />building permit issued, no fee shall be required for said <br />certificate of occupancy. <br /> <br />Section 6-8 Subsection 118.31 (a) (7) (1). <br /> <br /> When the valuation does not exceed One Hundred Dollars <br />($100.00), no fees shall be required, unless an inspection is <br />necessary. Fees for appeal. <br /> <br /> A fee of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each appeal made to <br />any division of the Department of Inspection (Building <br />Inspection, Mechanical Inspection, Plumbing Inspection, or <br />Electrical Inspection) made pursuant to the Virginia Uniform <br />Statewide Building Code shall be paid by the appellant to the <br />City of Portsmouth at the time that the application for the <br />appeal is made. If the appeal is made by a division of the <br />Department of Inspection, no appeal fee shall be due. <br /> <br />Section 6-8 Subsection 118.61.
