fraction thereof for each motor vehicle, trailer or <br />semi-trailer kept or used for rent or for hire or operated <br />under a lease without a driver for the transportation of <br />passengers. An additional fee of five dollars ($5.00) shall <br />be charged if the vehicle weighs in excess of four thousand <br />(4,000) pounds. This subsection does not apply to vehicles <br />used as common carriers. <br /> <br /> (f) Twenty-three dollars (S23.00) for a taxicab and <br />other vehicles kept for rent or hire operated with a driver <br />for the transportation of passengers, which operates or should <br />operate under permits issued by the state corporation <br />commission as required by law and the City Code. An <br />additional fee of five dollars ($5.00) shall be charged if the <br />vehicle weighs in excess of four thousand (4,000) pounds. <br />This subsection does not apply to vehicles used as common <br />carriers. <br /> <br /> (g) Eighteen dollars ($18.00) for a motorcycle, with or <br />without a sidecar. <br /> <br /> (h) Twenty-three dollars ($23.00) for a bus used <br />exclusively for transportation to and from Sunday School or <br />church, for the purpose of divine worship; provided that if <br />the empty weight of the vehicle exceeds four thousand (4,000) <br />pounds, the fee shall be twenty-eight dollars ($28.00). <br /> <br /> (i) Thirteen dollars ($13.00) in addition to seventy <br />cents ($0.70) per one hundred (100) pounds of weight or major <br />fraction thereof for other passenger-carrying vehicles. <br /> <br /> Definitions of terms not otherwise found in this Code <br />shall have the meaning as prescribed in Section 46.1-1 of the <br />Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended. <br /> <br /> 2.
