AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 21 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, BY AMENDING SECTIONS 21-18.1, <br />21-21, 21-38(a), (d~ AND (f), 21-40, 21-41, 21-81, 21-120, <br />AND 21-133, THEREOF, AND BY ENACTING SECTIONS 21-34.1 AND <br />21-38.1 THERETO, PERTAINING TO MISCELLANEOUS OFFENSES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Sections 21-18.1, 21-21, 21-25, 2t-38(a), (d) <br />and (f), 21-40, 21-41, 21-81, 21-120, and 21-133 of the Code <br />of the City of Portsmouth be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 21-18.1. Selling of illegal stimulants to minors <br /> prohibited. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly sell or <br />otherwise distribute, without prescription, to a minor any <br />anabolic steroid or any pill, capsule or tablet containing <br />any combination of caffeine and ephedine sulfate. <br /> <br /> A violation of this section shall be punishable as a <br />Class 1 misdemeanor. <br /> <br />Section 21-21. <br /> <br />Use of chemical test to determine alcohol in <br />blood; procedure, qualifications and <br />liability of person withdrawing blood; costs, <br />evidence, suspension of license for refusal <br />to submit to test. <br /> <br /> The provisions of Section 18.2-268 (A) through (AA) of <br />Article II of Chapter 7 of Title 18.2 of the Code of Virginia <br />of 1950, as amended, in effect on July 1, 1988, are hereby <br />incorporated by reference and adopted as a part of this Code. <br /> <br />Section 21-25. Driving after forfeiture of license. <br /> <br /> If any person so convicted shall, during the time for <br />which he is deprived of his right so to do, drive or operate <br />any motor vehicle, engine, or train in this city, he shall be <br />guilty of a misdemeanor and may be confined in jail not more <br />than six (6) months and may in addition be fined not more <br />than five hundred ($500.00) dollars. <br /> <br />Section 21-38. Carrying concealed weapons. <br /> <br /> (a) If any person carry about his person, hidden from <br />common observation: <br /> <br />~ . (1) Any pistol, revolver, or other weapon designed or <br /> intended to propel a missile of any kind; <br /> <br /> <br />
