A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO RAYMOND L. COX TO <br />OPERATE AN AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK PARTS RECYCLING FACILITY AT <br />3412 AND 3500 GEORGE WASHINGTON HIGHWAY. <br /> <br />60 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Raymond L. Cox, has made application pursuant.to <br />Section 40-69 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use permit as <br /> hereinafter-described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have <br />done all things required to be done in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the <br />granting of said use permit, with ccnditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />i. That the use for which the use permit is souaht: <br /> <br /> (a) Will not adversely <br />of persons residing or working in <br />proposed use; <br /> <br />affect the health and safety <br />the neighborhood of the <br /> <br />ln3urious <br />and <br /> <br />(b) Will not be detrimental to <br />to the property or improvements <br /> <br />the public use or <br />in the neighborhood; <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the <br />Zoning Chapner of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. Raymond L. Cox is hereby granted a use permit <br />pursuant to Section 40-69 (b) of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, to operate an Automobile and Truck Parts <br />Recycling Facility, as that term is defined in Section 40-31 <br />of said Code, on 1.1 acres at 3412 and 3500 George Washington <br />Highway, such parcels being more particularly described as Tax <br />Map 133, Parcels 7 and 8 (UP-88-5). <br /> <br /> 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br />the site <br />hereof. <br /> <br />(a) The fencing of the property will be as shown <br />layout plan attached hereto and made a part <br /> <br />on <br /> <br /> (b) No inoperative vehicles will be stacked above <br />eight (8' feet. <br /> <br /> <br />
