A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO RAYMOND L. COX TO OPERATE AN AUTOMOBILE AND TRUCK PARTS RECYCLING FACILITY AT 3412 AND 3500 GEORGE WASHINGTON HIGHWAY. 60 WHEREAS, Raymond L. Cox, has made application pursuant.to Section 40-69 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting of said use permit, with ccnditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City Portsmouth, Virginia: i. That the use for which the use permit is souaht: (a) Will not adversely of persons residing or working in proposed use; affect the health and safety the neighborhood of the ln3urious and (b) Will not be detrimental to to the property or improvements the public use or in the neighborhood; (c) Will be in accordance with the purposes of the Zoning Chapner of the City Code. 2. Raymond L. Cox is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to Section 40-69 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, to operate an Automobile and Truck Parts Recycling Facility, as that term is defined in Section 40-31 of said Code, on 1.1 acres at 3412 and 3500 George Washington Highway, such parcels being more particularly described as Tax Map 133, Parcels 7 and 8 (UP-88-5). 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following conditions: the site hereof. (a) The fencing of the property will be as shown layout plan attached hereto and made a part on (b) No inoperative vehicles will be stacked above eight (8' feet.
