26 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PERMIT TO WILBUR TURNER TO OPERATE AN AUTOMOBILE STORAGE YARD AT 3417 DEEP CREEK BOULEVARD. WHEREAS, wilbur Turner has made application pursuant to ~40-71 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, as amended, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter-described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said application; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the granting of said use permit, with conditions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: will not affect the health and safety of persons use; 3. This conditions: (a) The term "automobile storage yard", as provided for herein is defined for purposes of this use permit as a building or parcel of land used for short term storage of automobiles, light trucks, small trailers, recreational vehicles and small boats and light repair. Yhe definition of automobile storage yard does not include stripping, salvaging and storage of junk vehicles or other junk. (b) A slx foot (6') solid fence shall be erected along the southern, eastern and'western property line, and installation of said solid screening shall be completed within thirty (30) days of City Council's approval of this resolution.
