56 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF <br />GLASGOW STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Calvary Baptist Church has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portion of Glasgow Street, and it appearing that Notice of <br />Application and Request for Appointment of Viewers has been <br />advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Richard D. Ottavio, Waldo Davis, <br />William Choate, James Griffin, Maupin C. L. Bailey be <br />appointed viewers and that Richard Wood and Matthew Peanoit, <br />be appointed alternate viewers in the event one of the <br />preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view <br />the hereinafter-described portion of such street and to report <br />to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and <br />if any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and <br />closing the following: <br /> <br />MAP 70, PARCEL 1 <br /> <br /> Glasgow Street west from the west side of <br />Constitution Avenue to its terminus at what <br />was the eastern side of MacArthur Avenue <br />before it was closed. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held August 22, 1989. <br /> <br />Tes te: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
