AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1988, BY REPEALING SECTION 25-92 (a) AND AMENDING <br />SECTION 25-92 AND SECTION 25-93, PERTAINING TO FEES FOR <br />CAMPSITES AND PICNIC SHELTERS. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />repealed. <br /> <br />25-92 (a) of the Code of the City of <br />1988, be, and the same hereby is <br /> <br /> 2. That Section 25-92 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, be amended and reordained as follows: <br /> <br />Section 25-92. Charges for use of campsites <br /> at Portsmouth Park. <br /> <br /> The charge for the use of campsites in Portsmouth Park <br />shall be as follows: <br /> <br />(1) Sites with water and electricity, <br /> per day ........................... $ 7.00 <br />(2) Sites with water only, per day .... 5.00 <br /> <br /> Campsites may be occupied by only one (1) family or no <br />more than eight (8) persons and only one (1) piece of camping <br />equipment that exceeds thirty (30) square feet in area may be <br />parked or erected on any one (1) site. A discount of twenty <br />(20) percent for campsite rental shall be available for senior <br />citizens. Any group or club renting six (6) or more campsites <br />at one (1) time shall receive the use of one (1) additional <br />campsite at no additional cost. <br /> <br /> 3. That Section 25-93 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended and reordained as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Section 25-93. <br /> <br />Fee for reservation of picnic shelters at <br />City Park, Churchland Park and Portsmouth <br />Park. <br /> <br /> Picnic shelters may <br />Park and Portsmouth Park <br />follows: <br /> <br />be reserved at City Park, Churchland <br />upon payment of a reservation fee as <br /> <br /> <br />
