farm or farm to packing shed and/or processing plant within the normal growing area of the packing shed or processing plant and trailer or semitrailers drawn by a properly licensed motor vehicle which are exempt under the provisions of Section 46.,2-672 of the Code of Virginia shall be exempt from the requirements of this section. Section 22-240. Maximum length- Generally. (b) This section shall be subject to the provisions of Sections 46.2-1112, 46.2-1113, and 46.2-1153 of the Code of Virginia. Section 22-244. Vehicles having more than one trailer, etc., attached thereto. Except as provided in Sections 46.2-1116, 46.2-1153, and 46.2-1117 of the Code of Virginia, no motor vehicles shall be driven upon a highway drawing or having attached thereto more than one (1) motor vehicle, trailer, or semitrailer, but this limitation shall not apply between sunrise and sunset to such farm trailers or semitrailers being moved from one (1) farm to another farm owned or operated by the same person; provided that this limitation shall not apply to a combination of vehicles coupled together by a saddle mount device used to transport motor vehicles in a driveway from factory to dealer when not more than two (2) saddle mounts are used or when three (3) saddle mounts are used not exceeding sixty (60) feet in length when such motor vehicle is being operated on the interstate system of highways or is en route from its point of departure to the interstate system of highways. Section 22-245. Weight of vehicles and loads. (a) The maximum gross weight and axle weight of motor vehicles permitted on the road surface of any street or highway in the city shall be in accordance with the provisions of Sections 46.2-1122 through 46.2-1127 of the Code of Virginia. Section 22-300. Passing vehicle proceeding in same direction- Duty of overtaken vehicle. (a) Except when overtaking and passing on the right is permitted, the driver of an overtaken vehicle shall give way to the right in favor of the overtaking vehicle on audible signal and shall not increase the speed of his vehicle until completely passed by the overtaking vehicle. Provided, however, that any over-width, or slow-moving vehicle as defined by Section 46.2-1081 of the Code of Virginia shall be removed from the traveled way at the nearest suitable location when necessary to allow traffic to pass.
