(14) <br /> <br />Total area, usable area, and unusable area <br />in acres; <br /> <br />· (15) <br /> <br />The subdivider shall show, in dotted lines <br />on the preliminary and final plats, how he <br />will develop reserved areas in the event <br />that the City fails to acquire the reserved <br />property; <br /> <br />(16) <br /> <br />Include a location map with a minimum scale <br />of one inch equals one thousand feet <br />(1" = 1000'); <br /> <br />(17) Stamp and signature of licensed engineer <br /> or surveyor. <br /> <br /> 2. That Section 33-17 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended by adding Subsection <br />(e) thereto to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 33-17. Rights-of-way and easements. <br /> <br /> (e) In the evenn streets in a subdivision will not be <br />constructed no meet the standards necessary for state street <br />maintenance moneys to be paid no the City, the subdivision <br />plat and all approved deeds of subdivision, or similar <br />instruments, must contain a statement advising that the <br />streets in the subdivision do not meet state standards and <br />will non be maintained by the City. In addition, the <br />developer shall provide a financial commitment in the form as <br />required by Section 33-32 to provide for such street <br />maintenance until such time as the City releases said <br />commitment. <br /> <br /> 3. That Section 33-2 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended by amending the <br />following definition to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 33-2. Definitions. <br /> <br /> Lot area. The total area circumscribed by the boundaries <br />of a lot including public and private utility easements and <br />easements for ingress and egress. See method of computation <br />and certain limitations in Section 40-31 (Definition of plot <br />area). <br /> 4. That Section 33-21 be added to the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, to read as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
