B. Grantee shall construct, operate and maintain the <br /> System subject to the supervision of all the authorities of <br /> the City who have jurisdiction in such matters and in <br /> strict compliance with all laws, ordinances, departmental <br /> rules and regulations affecting the System. <br /> <br /> 14.07 Rights cumulative. All rights and remedies <br /> given to City and Grantee by this Franchise shall be in <br /> addition to and cumulative with any and all other rights or <br /> remedies, existing or implied, now or hereafter available <br /> to the City and Grantee, at law or in equity, and such <br /> rights and remedies shall not be exclusive, but eack and <br /> every right and remedy specifically given by this Franchise <br /> or otherwise existing or given may be exercised from time <br /> to time and as often and in such order as may be deemed <br /> expedient by the City and Grantee in the exercise of one or <br /> more rights or remedies shall not be deemed a waiver of the <br /> right to exercise at the same time or thereafter any other <br /> right or remedy. <br /> <br /> 14.08 Captions. The Section and paragraph captions in <br />this Franchise are for convenience and reference purposes <br />only and shall not affect in any way the meaning or <br />interpretation of this Franchise. <br /> <br /> 14.09 Calculation of Time.
