7.08 Trimming of Trees.- Grantee shall have the <br /> authority to trim trees located upon and which overhang <br /> streets, berms, alleys, sidewalks and public places of the <br /> City so as to prevent the branches of such trees from <br /> coming in contact with the wires and cables of Grantee. <br /> All trimming shall be done in accordance with any <br /> reasonable procedures or standards adopted by the City. <br /> <br /> 7.09 Street Vacation or Abandonment. In the event any <br /> Street or portion thereof used by Grantee shall be vacated <br /> by the City or the use thereof discontinued by Grantee, <br /> during the term of this Franchise, Grantee shall not be <br /> obligated to remove its facilities therefrom unless <br /> specifically requested by the City to do so. <br /> <br /> 7.10 Movement of Facilities. In the event it is <br />necessary temporarily to move or remove any of Grantee's <br />wires, cables, poles, or other facilities placed pursuant <br />to this Franchise, in order to lawfully move a large <br />object, vehicle, building or other structure over the <br />Streets of the City, upon five (5) days notice by the City <br />to Grantee, Grantee shall move, at the expense of the <br />person requesting the temporary removal, such of its <br />facilities as may be required to facilitate such movements. <br />Grantee may require payment in advance. Any service <br />disruption provisions of this Franchise shall not apply in <br />the event that such removal of Grantee's wires, cables, <br /> <br />-19- <br /> <br /> <br />
