- 5 - <br /> <br />(3) Journeyman 50.00 <br /> <br />(4) Journeyman (re-examination) . . 50.00 <br /> <br />Section 7-71. Issuance. <br /> <br /> The city shall issue to persons complyin~ with these <br />standards the certificate provided by the state department of <br />housing and community development. Such certificate shall be <br />filled in by the agent or board. In lieu of the social <br />security number, a number unique to the applicant and <br />acceptable to the agent or board may be used. <br /> <br />Section 7-73. Revocation. <br /> <br /> Certification may be revoked for misrepresentation or <br />fraud upon application, or for incompetence as demonstrated by <br />an egregious or repeated violations of the Virginia Uniform <br />Statewide Building Code. <br /> <br />The state department of housing an~.community development <br />shall be notified by the appropriate local board of examiners <br />or the appropriate chief inspector when a certification has <br />been revoked in accordance with provisions of these standards. <br /> <br />Section 7-103. Fee for Certificate of OccuPancy and <br /> Commercial Reinspection. <br /> <br /> (a) The fee for a certificate of occupancy required by <br />the building code for an existing structure shall be <br />twenty-five dollars ($25.00). When a certificate of occupancy <br />is issued pursuant to the satisfactory completion of final <br />inspections pursuant to a building permit issued, no fee shall <br />be required for the certificate of occupancy. <br /> <br /> (b) Before a commercial property is occupied by a new <br />tenant, or owner, or by the same tenant or owner, if the <br />property changes from one use group to another, a commercial <br />reinspection including plumbing, mechanical, electrical and <br />building inspections shall be required. The fee for a <br />commercial reinspection shall be $60.00. <br /> <br />Section 7-105.1. Administrative fee. <br /> <br /> ~ fee of seventy five dollars ($75.00) shall be paid, <br />addition to any permit fees, if work is begun without <br />necessary permits, or if occupancy of the building or <br />structure occurs prior to the issuance of a certificate of <br />occupancy by the building official. <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />SeCtion 7-131.
