AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 39 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1988, BY AMENDING SECTION 39-84 THEREOF, <br />PERTAINING TO WETLANDS PERMIT FEES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Chapter 39 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 39-84. Fee to accompany application. <br /> <br /> A nonrefundable fee of fifty dollars (S50.00) for <br />single-family dwellings and one hundred dollars ($100.00) for <br />all other uses shall be paid to the city treasurer for a <br />permit.for the use or development of any wetland within the <br />city and a receipt showing such payment shall accompany each <br />application for the same. The fee has been set by the city <br />council with due regard for the services to be rendered, <br />including the time, skill and administrator's expense <br />involved. <br /> <br />2.
