ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-90-11 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That a portion of the Zoning Map attached to and <br />made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, which zones as Residential R-60-K <br />(Conditional), the property described in Petition for Zoning <br />Amendment No. Z-90-11, is hereby amended and changed so as to <br />revise the conditions contained in Ordinance No. 1985-40 as to <br />said property; and that said property shall continue to be <br />shown on sa~d map zoned as Residential R-60-K (Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2. That the property affected by this Ordinance is <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Z-90-11 <br /> <br />Beginning on the east right-of-way line of River <br />Pointe Drive, said point being 1,640'+ westerly and <br />southerly from the west right-of-way Tine of River <br />Pointe Parkway; thence S 48° 45' E 118'; thence S <br />70° 00' E 125'; thence S 41° 13' 18" W 82'; thence <br />S 26° 00' 03" W 340'+; thence S 82° 01' 59" W <br />255'+; thence due north 108'~; thence N 52° 27' 44" <br />W i0~'+ to the east right-of-way line of River <br />Pointe Drive; thence northerly along said <br />right-of-way line 400'~ to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. That Zoning Amendment Z-90-11 is conditioned upon <br />the following, as proffered by the petitioner by letter dated <br />October 22, 1990 to the Director of Planning: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Development on the parcel shall consist of "garden <br />apartments" at a density not to exceed sixteen <br />dwelling units per acre; or no more than seven <br />detached, single-family residences with a minimum <br />structure size of 1,500 square feet; and customary <br />accessory structures; <br /> <br />(b) Ail detached single-family resIdences will be on <br /> lots of no less than 10,000 square feet per lot; and <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Apartment development shall be pursuant to the group <br />housing review procedures provided for in Section <br />40-55 of the Co~e of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> <br />
