(e) Where the assessment which is subsequently <br />considered erroneous was made as a result of miscalculation or <br />ministerial error on the part of the commissioner of revenue, <br />the city assessor, or any officer or employee of the City, <br />interest on the amount erroneously assessed will be paid along <br />with the refund at a rate of ten (10) percent per annum from <br />the date that the tax was paid or from the date the tax was <br />required to be paid, whichever date is later. No interest <br />will be paid where the assessment in question, was based on a <br />good faith assessment, was made as a result of a statutory <br />assessment, or where the error was made on the part of the <br />applicant. <br /> <br /> (f) Ail payments to be refunded with interest in <br />accordance with subsection (e), shall be approved in advance <br />by the City Council. <br /> <br /> 2.
