The <br />landscape plan must identify such trees. Trees must be <br />physically and structurally in good condition. All such trees <br />on the site during construction must be protected in <br />accordance with the provisions of Section 36-52(10). <br /> <br /> (6) Street trees to be planted along the street in the <br />public right-of-way may be used to satisfy the canopy coverage <br />requirements. <br /> <br /> (7) No landscape plan shall be approved unless the <br />Director of Parks and Recreation or his designee makes the <br />following certifications: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />all existing trees to be retained in compliance with <br />the requirements of this chapter are physically and <br />structurally sound; <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Where street trees are proposed, the landscape plan <br />provides for acceptable spacing, lawn area and <br />species selection in relation to streets, sidewalks, <br />utilities, traffic sight lines, and parking areas. <br /> <br /> (8) No Certificate of Occupancy will be issued for any <br />part of a development until the trees required by Section <br />36-52(1) for that part of the development for which occupancy <br />has been requested have been planted and alt such trees have <br />been determined by to be physically and structurally sound by <br />the Director of Parks and Recreation or his designee or have <br />been bonded for with security acceptable to the City to ensure <br />the timely completion of the approved tree planting plan. Any <br />trees bonded shall be planted prior to or during the next <br />planting season. <br /> <br /> (9) Ail trees to be planted shall be installed in <br />conformance with the following criteria: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Ail trees to be planted shall conform to the most <br />recent edition of the "American Standards for <br />Nursery Stock" published by the American Association <br /> <br /> <br />
