A RESOLUTION GP~NTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING PROJECT PURSUANT TO SECTION 40-55 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1988, AS AMENDED, SAID PROJECT CONSISTING OF THIRTY-EIGHT CONDOMINIUM UNITS AND DESIGNATED AS GHP-90-2. WHEREAS, Garcia-Gelardi Development ~orporation has made application pursuant to Section 40-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, as amended, for the granting and approval of a group housing project, designated as GHP-90-2, and consisting of thirty-eight (38) condominium units within eight (8) two-story buildings on portions of the R~ver Pointe Subdivision, said property being on the north side of River Pointe Drive, more particularly described as follows: GHP-90-2 Beginning at the northeast intersection of the rIght-of-way lines of River Pointe Drive and Lantern Way; thence north along the east right-of-way line of Lantern Way 255.35'+ to a point; thence east 114.15'+; thence south 299.17' to the north right-of-way line--of River Pointe Drive~ thence west along said right-of-way line 127'+ to the east right-of-way line of Lantern Way, the point of beginning. Also, beginning at a point on the south right-of-way line of Candlelight Lane 246'~ northerly from its intersection with the north right-of-way line of River Pointe Drive; thence S 52° 15' 00" E 104.88'; thence S 51° 37' 00" W 130'; thence S 61° 24' 24" W 131'; thence S 26° 08' 42" E i12'; thence along a curve to the right having a radius of 50' a distance of 96.44'; thence S 22° 34' 54" W 24.65'; thence N 46° 11' 55" W 124'; thence N 43° 48' 05" E 182.52'; thence N 52° 34' 14" E 62.53'; thence N 44° 54' 28" E 133'; thence S 40° 54' 28" W 173'; thence southeasterly 155' to the center line of Candlelight Lane; thence easterly along said center line 110'+ to a point; thence southeast 25' to the south right-oflway line of Candlelight Lane, the point of beginning. WHEREAS, the applicant has been determined by the Planning Commission to have met the requirements of Section 40-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, as amended; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed such application and site plan submitted therewith and has recommended conditional approval of said application; and
