80 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF WATER STREET. WHEREAS, City of Portsmouth has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described portion of Water Street, and it appearing that Notice of Application and Request for Appgintment of Viewers has been advertised as required by law. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Roy Leinart, Charles Hudgins, Robert Reed, Harrison Miller, and Moses Gibson be appointed viewers and that Melville Bunting and Matthew Peanort, be appointed alternate viewers in the e~ent one of the preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described portion of such street and to report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any what, inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: Water Street Ail that portion of Water Street beginning at a point in the northwest corner of Museum Parcel 61C as shown on that certain plat entitled "Plat Showing Survey of Development Parcels 6lA through 61H Crawford Renewal Project VA. R-53 Portsmouth, Virginia", dated August 13, 1985 and revised May 27, 1986, duly recorded in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth in Map Book 13 at page 225; thence N 03° 32' 15" W, 291.24 feet; thence N 86° 52' 02" E, 25.25 feet to a point on a curve having a radius of 45,944.19 feet, thence along said curve to the left having a radius of 45,944.19 feet, an arc distance of 291.10 feet, thence S 86° 31' 45" W, 26.59 feet to the point of Beginning.
