A RESOLUTION DISCONTINUING THE LONG-TERM CARE COORDINATING <br />COMMITTEE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by resolution adopted by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, on September 28, 1982, the Long-Term <br />Care Coordinating Committee was established pursuant to the <br />development, etc. of a plan for the long-term care of the <br />impaired elderly; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Committee has advised the Mayor and the City <br />Council that it has fulfilled ali of its goals and <br />responsibilities; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />greatly appreciates the time and energies that the members of <br />this Committee devoted to this undertaking. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council' of the C i~ <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia that this Committee be, and the same <br />is hereby discontinued. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held January 9, 1990. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
