ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-91-8 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That a portion of the zoning map attached to and <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which <br />now zones as Residential RS-75, the property described in <br />Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-91-8, is hereby amended <br />and changed so as to show said property zoned as Residential <br />RM-75-K (Conditional), and that said property is hereby zoned <br />as Residential RM-75-K (Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this ordinance is described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Z-91-8 <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the east right-of-way of <br />Louisa Avenue 265' north from its intersection with <br />King Street; thence north along said right-of-way <br />135'+ to a point; thence east 390' to a point; <br />thence south 180' to a point; thence west 390' to <br />the east right-of-way of Louisa Avenue, the point <br />of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-91-8 is conditioned <br />upon the following as proffered by the owners and the <br />applicant: <br /> <br /> (a) Use of the property will be limited to a residential <br /> care facility for the elderly as proposed by the <br /> applicant and approved by City Council or to <br /> detached single-family residences on individual <br /> lots. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The applicant or any successor in interest will at <br />its expense widen Louisa Avenue to twenty-four (24) <br />feet in width from applicant's or any successor's <br />service entrance to King Street to provide for <br />two-way traffic. <br /> <br /> 4.
