Sec. 40-41.15. Neighborhood oommerciai C-1 district. <br /> <br /> Primarily a district for the conduct of retail trade with emphasis on the provision <br />of convenience goods and services for nearby residential areas. <br /> <br />Sec. 40-41.16. General commercial C-2 district. <br /> <br /> Primarily a district for the conduct of retail trade, administrative and professional <br />offices, and service to the general public, with emphasis upon large-scale stores and <br />specialized shops serving a trading area of the entire city and surrounding area. <br /> <br />Sec. 40-41.17. Waterfront W-1 district. <br /> <br />Primarily a district for office buildings, both governmental and private, and <br />high-rise apartments, but including other types of public buildings, certain <br />commercial activities; and certain recreational facilities particularly suited to a <br />waterfront location. <br /> <br />Sec. 40-41.18. Commerce park CP district. <br /> <br /> Primarily a district for office, office warehouse and research and development <br />facilities in a controlled park-like setting. <br /> <br />See. 40-41.19. Industrial M-1 district. <br /> <br /> Primarily a district for wholesale activities, warehouses, and light industrial <br />operations; that is, those industrial operations which are not obnoxious or offensive <br />by reason of emission of odor, dust, smoke, fumes or noise. <br /> <br />Sec. 40-41.20. industrial M-1-R district. <br /> <br /> An industrial district in which most uses are highly restricted and most uses are <br />allowed only by use permit. M-1-R developments shall be characterized by an <br />absence of noxious fumes, noise, vibrations, odors, smoke, dust, and any other <br />industrial discharge nuisances. <br /> <br />Sec. 40-41.21. Industrial M-2 district. <br /> <br /> Primarily a district for manufacturing, assembling and fabrication activities, <br />including large scale or specialized industrial operations. <br /> <br />See. 40-41.22.
