Section 22-574. <br /> <br />Removal, storage of vehicles unlawfully <br />parked on private property. <br /> <br /> (b) Any towing under the provisions of this section <br />shall not be commenced unless notice is, first or <br />simultaneously with the towing operations, given by the tow <br />truck operator to the police department or to the state <br />police. <br /> <br /> Failure to report such tow as required by this section <br />shall constitute a traffic infraction punishable by a fine not <br />to exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00). Additionally, such <br />failure to report shall limit the amount which may be charged <br />for the storage and safekeeping of the towed vehicle to an <br />amount no greater than that charged for one day of storage and <br />safekeeping. <br /> <br /> 3.
