ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-92-5 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That a portion of the zoning map attached to and <br />made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance which <br />now zones as Downtown D-2-I (Industrial) and Industrial M-l, <br />the property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number <br />Z-92-5, is hereby amended and changed so as to show said <br />property zoned as Industrial M-1-K (Conditional), and that <br />said property is hereby zoned as Industrial M-1-K <br />(Conditional). <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this crdinance is described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Z-92-5 <br /> <br />Beginning at the southwest intersection of High <br />Street and Confederate Avenue; thence south 485' <br />along the west right-of-way of Confederate Avenue to <br />the north right-of-way line of County Street; thence <br />west along said right-of-way 235'~ to a point; <br />thence southwest 60' to the eastern property line of <br />the Norfolk & Portsmouth Belt Line Railroad; thence <br />north along said property line 540' to the south <br />right-of-way line of High Street; thence east along <br />said right-of-way 265' to Confederate Avenue, the <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-92-5 is conditioned <br />upon the following as proffered by the applicant: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Materials or equipment will not be stored, <br />processed or disassembled in the front yard(s) <br />of the building or in areas visible from High <br />Street. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Loading or unloading will not be conducted in <br />such a manner as to impede the normal traffic <br />flow on High Street, and all loading and <br />unloading shall occur entirely on the property. <br /> <br /> 4. That this ordinance shall take effect on the date of <br />its adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />
