(6) Hi-rail vehicles only when the vehicles are operated <br /> on railroad rails; <br /> <br />(7) <br /> <br />Fire apparatus, ambulances, and rescue and <br />life-saving vehicles, provided the amber lights are <br />mounted or installed on the ~ear of the vehicles and <br />are used in addition to lights permitted under <br />Section 46.2-1023; <br /> <br />(8) <br /> <br />Vehicles owned and used by businesses providing <br />security services, provided the amber lights are not <br />lit while the vehicle is being operated on a public <br />h~ghway; <br /> <br />(9) <br /> <br />Vehicles used to collect and deliver the United <br />States mail, provided the amber lights are lit only <br />when the vehicle is actually engaged in such <br />collection or delivery; and <br /> <br />(10) Vehicles used to provide escorts for funeral <br /> procssslons. <br /> <br />Such lights on other vehicles shall be lit only when <br />performing the functions which qualify them to be equipped <br />with such lights. <br /> <br />Section 22-348. Driving while license suspended or revoked. <br /> <br /> (a) Except as otherwise provided in Section 22-428 of <br />this chapter and Section 46.2-357 of the Code of Virginia, no <br />person whose driver's license or learner's permit or privilege <br />to drive a motor vehicle has been suspended or revoked or who <br />has been directed not to drive by any court or by the <br />commissioner of the state department of motor vehicles or by <br />operation of law pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, <br />title 46.2 of the Code of Virginia, or any similar law or <br />regulation or who has been forbidden as prescribed by law by <br />the commissioner of the state department of motor vehicles, <br />the state corporation commission, the commonwealth <br />transportation commissioner, any court, or the superintendent <br />of state pclice to operate a motor vehicle in this <br />commonwealth shall thereafter drive any motor vehicle or any <br />self-propelled machinery or equipment on any highway in this <br />city unless and until the period of such suspension or <br />revocation shall have terminated. For the purposes of this <br />section, the phrase "motor vehicle or any self-propelled <br />machinery or equipment" shall not include mopeds. <br /> <br />Section 22-391. General rule as to reckless driving. <br /> <br /> Irrespective of the maximum speeds herein provided, any <br />person who drives a vehicle upon a highway recklessly or at a <br />speed or in a manner so as to endanger life, limb, or property <br /> <br /> <br />
