where the facilities are located concurs with the inducement resolution of this Authority and <br />shows ~ts concurrence in a duly adopted resolution: and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS. in irt application and other materials submitted to the Authority, and irs <br />appearance before the Authority, Bon Secours has described on behalf of the Institutions (1) <br />the proposed refunding of the Prior Bonds (collectively, the "Refunding") and the benefit <br />thereof to Bon Secours and the Insntutions in providing medical care to the residents of <br />Hem-ico County., the City. of Portsmouth. the City of Suffolk and surrounding environs at the <br />[owest possible cost. and (2) the Improvement Projects and the benefits thereof in supplying <br />quality medical care to such residents: aha <br /> <br /> WHW_REAS. the Authority. has determined that both the Refundingand the undermkSng <br />of the Improvement Projects by the Authority for Bon Secours and the Institutions- will <br />protect and promote the beakh and welfare of the inhabitants of the Commonwealth of <br />Virginia and in particular of Henrico County, the City of Portsmouth. the City of Suffolk <br />and surrounding environs, w/il be in the public interest and w/il be consistent with and serve <br />the purpose of the Act: <br /> <br /> NOW ~ORE BE IT RESOLVED. BY WrtE INDUS'IXIAL DEVELOPMF_xNT AUTHORITY <br />OF TIlE Cor_rN'I'Y OF HEN1KICO. VIRGINIA: <br /> <br /> (1) It is hereby found and determined that the Refunding and the undertaking of the <br />Improvement Prejecrt w/il reduce the cost of providing medical care to residents of the <br />Commonwealth of Virginia and in particular Henrico County, the City of Portsmouth. the <br />City of Suffolk. wilt result in hnproved medical facilities in such jurisdictions and the <br />surrounding environs, will be in the public interest, wilt be of benefit te the inhabitants of <br />the area served by the Authority and will oe consistent with and serve the purposes of the <br />Act.. <br /> <br /> (2) In order to refund some or all of the St. Mary's Bonds. the Authority hereby <br />agrees to issue im Series 1992 Bonds ~n a principal amount (excluding original issue <br />discount) not to exceed 547,325,000, upon terms and conditions to be mutually agreed upon <br />among the Authority, St. Mary's Hospital. Bon Secours and the purchasers of such bonds. <br /> <br /> (3) In order ro refund some or all of the Maryview Hospital Bonds. the Authority <br />hereby agrees m issue its Series 1992 Bonds in a principal amount (excluding ori~_qnal issue <br />discount) not to exceed $33.475,000, upon terms and conditions to be mutually agreed upon <br />among the Authority, Maryview Hospital. Ben Secours and the purchasers of such bonds. <br /> <br /> (4) In order to refund some or alt of the Mary?iow Center Bonds. the Authority <br />agrees to issue its Series 1992 Bonds in a pnncipal amount (excludIng original issue <br />discount) not to exceed $5.305.000. upon terms and conditions to be mutually ageed upon <br />among the Authority. Maryv. iow Center. Bon Secours and the purchasers of such bonds. <br /> <br /> (5) In order to finance the Improvement Projects. the Authority agrees te issue irt <br />Series I992 Bonds in principal amounts as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
