ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-93-1 BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: t. That a portion of the zoning map attached to and made a part of the City of Portsmouth Zoning Ordinance, which now zones as Residential RS-150 the property described in Petition for Zoning Amendment Number Z-93-1, is hereby amended and changed so as to show said property zoned as Office Residential OR-75-K (Conditional), and that said property is hereby zoned as Office Residential OR-75-K (Conditional). 2. The property affected by this ordinance is described as follows: Z-93-1 Beginning at a point 580+ feet west of the intersection of High Street West and Carney Farm Lane along the northern right-of-way of High Street West; thence in a northeasterly direction 278.07 feet; thence in an easterly direction 20 +/- feet; thence in a northwesterly direction 523.5 feet; thence in a westerly direction 215 feet; thence in a southwesterly direction 330.88 feet; thence in a southwesterly direction 234.25 feet; thence in a southeasterly direction 150.03 feet; thence in a southeasterly direction 60.66 feet; thence in a southeasterly direction 311.94 feet, to the point beginning. of 3. Zoning Amendment Ordinance Z-93-1 is conditional upon the following as proffered by the owner: The use of the property shall be restricted to a membership sports and recreation club (SIC Code 7997) and related accessory uses. The use of the tennis courts will be restricted to the hours of normal operations for the YMCA. Those hours are: Monday Thursday 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Friday 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Exterior lights for the tennis courts will be of such design and location so as to prohibit direct lighting from overlapping adjacent property lings.
