shall have his license revoked as provided in section <br />46.2-391B of the Code of Virginia. The court trying such <br />case shall order the surrender of the driver's license of <br />the person so convicted, to be disposed of in accordance <br />with section 46.2-398 of the Code of Virginia, and shall <br />notify such person that his license has been revoked <br />indefinitely. <br /> <br /> 2. That Chapter 22 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1988, be amended by adding thereto <br />Section 22-366.1 to be ordained and read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 22-366.1. Evasion of traffic control devices. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for the driver of any motor <br />vehicle to drive off the roadway and onto or across any <br />public or ~rivate property in order to evade any stop sign, <br />yield sign~ traffic light, or other traffic control device. <br /> <br /> 3. That this ordinance shall take effect on July 1, <br />1993. <br /> <br /> Adopted at a meeting of the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, at a meeting held on June 22, 1993. <br /> <br /> Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
